The construction of a strong smart grid not only reduces the energy consumption of the grid itself, but also effectively enhances the ability to optimize the allocation of grid resources and support the development of renewable energy. In 2014, the company's Fufeng, Jinsu, and Binjin ultra-high voltage direct current projects operated at full power for a long time, delivering Sichuan clean hydropower on a large scale to Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and other places in East China. When the flood season approaches, the three major ultra-high voltage direct current projects maintain a full power transmission of 21.6 million kilowatts for 1267 hours, delivering over 80% of Sichuan's hydropower to East China, accounting for two-thirds of the electricity received outside the East China area, with a capacity of 60 billion kilowatt hours.
